Climasoul is a small Indian business. We collect very little, we store it carefully, and we never sell it. This page explains what happens when you fill in our form, send us a WhatsApp message, or browse our website.

Who we are

Climasoul Care — an oral care brand owned and operated by Oakliv Eco India Private Limited, based in Assam, India.

This privacy policy applies to climasoulcare.com and any forms or messages you send us through it. The data controller (or "data fiduciary" under India's DPDP Act 2023) is Oakliv Eco India Private Limited, operating Climasoul Care as one of its consumer brands. Our contact details are at the bottom of this page.

This policy is written in plain language because we'd rather you actually read it than skim a legal wall of text.

What we collect

Only what you give us directly. Nothing tracked behind the scenes.

When you fill in our contact form on the Contact page, we collect:

If you reach out by WhatsApp directly, we receive whatever you choose to send — typically your phone number, name (as set in your WhatsApp profile), and the message itself.

If you email sales@climasoulcare.com, we receive your email address, name, and the contents of your email.

We do not collect bank details, ID documents, GST numbers, location data, browsing behaviour, or anything sensitive on this website. Bulk orders are processed through our retail partner Suspire — their privacy policy applies once you click through to their site.

Why we collect it

To reply to you. That's the only reason.

We use the information you give us to:

  • Reply to your enquiry (sample request, bulk pricing question, co-branding query, anything else)
  • Send you a payment link, invoice, or proof for a co-branded order if you ask us to
  • Coordinate dispatch and delivery if you place an order
  • Keep an internal record of who has reached out, so we don't miss messages

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023, our legal basis for processing this data is consent — you give it to us voluntarily by submitting the form or sending us a message. You can withdraw consent at any time (see Your rights).

Where it goes

Two places: our own records, and the tools we use to receive your message.

When you submit the contact form, the data is sent to:

  • A private Google Sheet that only Climasoul team members can access — used as our enquiry log
  • A pre-filled WhatsApp message that opens on your device, which you choose whether or not to send to us

If you do send the WhatsApp message, the conversation is stored on Meta's servers under the WhatsApp Privacy Policy, in addition to our own records.

Email enquiries are stored in Google Workspace under the Google Privacy Policy.

Where data is processed

Google and Meta both store data on global infrastructure that includes servers outside India. By using our form or messaging us, you consent to this cross-border transfer for the purposes described above. We do not transfer your data to any other country or jurisdiction directly.

Who we share it with

Nobody, unless we have to.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We share it only with:

  • Service providers we use to run the business — currently Google (forms storage, email), Meta/WhatsApp (messaging) and Meta Platforms (Pixel-based analytics, see Cookies & analytics), and our courier partner (delivery address only, when an order is placed)
  • Suspire, our retail partner, if you place an order through their platform — only the information needed to fulfil that order
  • Authorities, if compelled by a valid legal order, court summons, or statutory request under Indian law

We do not sell your personal data to anyone. The Meta Pixel does send anonymised browsing signals to Meta for advertising and measurement — see the Cookies & analyticssection for what's shared and how to opt out.

How long we keep it

Long enough to be useful, not longer.

You can ask us to delete your data earlier — see Your rights. We may need to retain certain order records for the full legal period regardless, but we'll always tell you what we're keeping and why.

Cookies & analytics

We use Meta Pixel to understand how people find and use our site. No other tracking.

climasoulcare.com uses the Meta Pixel (also known as the Facebook Pixel) — a small piece of code from Meta Platforms, Inc. that helps us:

  • Understand which pages and channels are bringing visitors to our site
  • Measure how well our Facebook and Instagram ads are working
  • Show relevant Climasoul content to people who have visited our site, on Facebook and Instagram

To do this, the Meta Pixel sets cookies and shares information with Meta about your visit — typically the page URL, your browser and device type, and a hashed identifier if you are logged into Facebook or Instagram. This data is governed by the Meta Privacy Policy.

Your choice

You can opt out of Meta's ad personalisation in your Facebook Ad Preferences, or block tracking cookies entirely through your browser settings or a privacy extension. Doing so will not affect your ability to use this website.

Beyond the Meta Pixel, we do not use Google Analytics, other third-party behavioural analytics, or any other advertising pixels on this site. If this changes in future, we'll update this policy first.

Your rights

Under India's DPDP Act 2023, you have specific rights over your data. We honour all of them.

You can ask us to:

  • Confirm what data we hold about you, and get a copy of it
  • Correct any inaccurate or outdated information
  • Delete your data, where we are not required by law to retain it
  • Withdraw consent for further processing — we will stop using your data going forward, though earlier processing remains lawful
  • Nominate someone to exercise these rights on your behalf in case of incapacity or death
  • Complain to the Data Protection Board of India if you believe we have mishandled your data

To exercise any of these rights, message us on WhatsApp at +91 60006 74347 or email sales@climasoulcare.com. We aim to respond within 7 working days, and will complete your request within 30 days at the latest.

Children

Our website and services are intended for adults running clinics and pharmacies.

We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has submitted information through our form, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

Changes to this policy

We'll update this page when our practices change. Major changes will be flagged at the top.

The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. If we change anything material — for example, adding analytics, changing how we store data, or working with new third parties — we'll update this policy and, where appropriate, notify you directly through the channel you contacted us on.

Routine clarifications or wording improvements that don't change how your data is handled may be made without notification.
